Greetings to all…

It’s a new year and time for a new house project…this time I’ve chosen the November 2004 House of the Month on Ted’s site…here’s the link…scroll down to November…
https://cardboardchristmas.com/papateds/Hom2004.html

The base on my version measures 8 3/4” x 6” x 3/4” thick…overall height, including the base, will be right at 6"...I’m making a cardboard door that is similar to the cast one on the vintage original…it’s really like making a “flattie” figurine…just a flat cardboard cut out and some layers of cardboard details…add a few coats of primer and some paint and it will look like a casting…

I’ll be posting patterns, pictures and updates as the build continues...

My very best regards…

Howard…

Looking good Howard! Also, love the door creativity!

Compared to the weather in Vermont, we are a 'balmy' -20 wind chill in Pittsburgh!
