hello to all…

i’ve been asked several times…actually “more than several“… to post some new project plans…so…here we go…

it’s a “three peak church” based on a vintage piece…it was probably our friend, maria, who sent me the picture…i added a short bell tower with a spire to give it a more interesting skyline silhouette…

i’ll be adding comments and pictures regarding this project over the next several week as I build my version…

please post any comments and pictures as you build your version…select the “putz patterns” board index and under the topic “three peak church”…

note that this plan is provided for your personal, non-commercial use...thanks...

keep in touch…my very best regards…

howard…

good afternoon…

did a little work on the church…cardboard assembly is finished…i did try a taller bell tower…but went back to the shorter one like the original drawing…

base is 3 1/2” x 6” x 1/2” high…the fence, cut with pinking shears, is 5/8” tall…i did put in a folded cardboard brace at the center peak for strength…

will prime twice over the next few days…and start painting…then it’s on to glitter and the details…probably going to use the “stained glass windows” that paul designed…but more about that later…

my very best regards…

howard

Good morning…

Here’s a link to the “stained glass windows” I plan to use on the “three peak church“…Paul designed these windows several years ago…

I may print them on old-school transparency material this time instead of regular copy paper…

My very best regards…

Howard

also, i had an electrial short in the undergorund power line to the shop...no way to work out there in nearly 100 degree heat...hope to be back up and running in about 4 weeks...

Greetings Howard from hot and hazy New York---utter misery. I have sequestered myself in the a.c. and am dreaming of cooler days

Looking forward to your next house as always!

Hi Tom! Follow the doctor’s order and take good care of your eye. Just thinking of sprinkling glitter in all that heat, I would have more glitter stuck on me then my house!!

Take care,
Lynn

And greetings also from comfortable Southern California--85 tops Sunday with a light offshore breeze. (You can sympathize with us when we have our next earthquake or fire.) I'm glad you're avoiding mica and glitter, Howard. And I hope your work room's power gets restored soon. I'm finishing up the barn I made from your design as the second in the Laura series. Will post it when it gets done.
