The Venetian Dew looks to be no-hole micro beads. People who do scrapbooking and card making use them all the time. They come in lots of colors. Getting them to stick is a bit more of an issue. First put on a layer of glue, then place the beads on. You want your surface to be horizontal while you work as they do roll :). Let dry but don't disturb. The crafters then spread a thin layer of Modge Podge over the beads. That glue will settle in between the gaps sealing the beads down. Without that extra glue they tend to come loose very easily as there is not enough surface contact.

Karin,

Thanks for the tip about the Modge-Podge over the top of the little beads.
