Greetings to all...

Thanks to a post by forum member "sjleeds" (Steven) about a vintage nativity figurine set, I've decided to finally start a "flattie" nativity project that has actually been on my list for over a year...

My version will be based on some of the figures in the set he referenced…and I've also borrowed from other nativity images on the internet...

I plan to make mine in 5 parts between now and next December...

1--Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus...
2--Stable with angel at the peak...
3--Three wise men...
4--Shepherd with sheep...
5--Donkey, cow and camels…

Here’s part 1...Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus...progress photos and updates will follow...

My very best regards…

Howard…

Outstanding. Thank you, I'm so happy you're doing these. Will you be taking a crack at the elephant figure?

Probably will strongly consider the elephant. I have several reference photos on file.

Wow Howard! Never attempted a Flattie but your creation might be the inspiration to give it a try! Great job!
