I had never heard of the craft, but a quick google search gave images on some incredible animal creations that people make. I had to share here in case anyone is seeking figures to accompany buildings or displays. And as with everything new learned, it may spark something else creative and useful.

Google away, friends, and Merry Christmas!

David, are there any links you'd like to share? Thanks,

Here's an amazing needle felting crafting friend of mine who specializes in cats:

Please define; What is needle felting? Clearly whatever the process you can get a great deal of detail in a small figure. tkh

Here is a youtube video with a quick demonstration. I am still learning what it is all about.

And after watching this, and while sitting in traffic today, it came to me. Think of taking steel wool, needling it as in the video, to make an S.O.S. pad (without the cleaning additive). Sounds stupid I know, but the process has to be similar. Snowmen, Santas, reindeer...anything with a fuzzy texture could be possible. Imagine getting wool from local sheep and making needle felted miniatures!
