Hi guys.... The village is up for 2017. New elements include a couple of 1:32 scale automobiles I was able to snag
on E-bay from a collector who was downsizing, the distressed lakkie that my sister Barbara was able to restore, and
a new coconut reproduction she made with some help from Steve and others. Plus, check out what my husband did
with the left over elements that didn't fit into this year's village.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I love the display your hubby made, and what a nice collection of ephemera. Doesn’t look like leftovers to me!

Your putz village is delightful! I envy your collection.

Pat,
This is incredible. Much more extensive than last year right. I think you showed us a drone view last year. And I love the shelves. What a great idea. Thank you so much for sharing your village.

Wowser! Leftovers have never looked so delicious!! I love this display - and can't wait to see it in person!

Your village is a delight as always. There is nothing better than sitting in front of it, drinking in all the little details and imagining living in that world.

Love it!

Thanks guys for all your nice comments. Howard, here you go with close ups. I checked over the little wind-up train, which measures
2.5" end to end and found it was stamped Japan on the connector piece where a second car is supposed to be hooked up. As to the
sleigh, it measures about 4.5" end to end including the reindeer. It's not marked, made of extremely soft metal. I have a few pieces
from this series, all have a rose painted on the side, and they look like good candidates to become 3-D flatties.

I think the soft pewter figures with the rose painted on them can be attributed to Babette Schweizer, a German company and according to one source, date to 1910 ish. A very quick search was not helpful in determining if Babette was an individual with the company, or just part of the name. Amazing to think of these delicate pieces holding up so well!
