The house in the back of the last picture is awesome.

They're all quite interesting; I'll try to put up the last of the photos later. I took down my Homage to Wollworth's and the National Christmas center today--and I'm exhausted!

About the figurines...i think some (perhaps most) are Department 56 items...i'll let Linda or Pete confirm...

Happy New Year fellow collector's. I'm not sure if Maria mentioned that this is a real, 1930's set. I was made for Prange Department Stores in Sheboygan Wisconsin. This is a very rare find. Each house has "Japan" marked on the bottom and every bell and whistle is included in the construction techniques that the Japanese artisans used in the 1920's and 30's. Linda does a spectacular job of creating magical Putz Scenes. There's a story that goes with the scene. The story is called "The perfect Christmas gift" Thank you for your interest, Pete

Lynn and Howard, All the figures are Dept 56. They seemed the best fit in this village. The Santa in the sleigh
in the background is not. He came with the village.
