By and large I haven't had the kitty problem though I sort of expected it. Especially since the Baywindow was their private "outdoor" viewing station. Buddy sat on the front of the bay today that didn't have houses but that was all. Buddy especially seems to like the villages. I would catch him from time to time laying besides the fence and looking in. Makes one wonder if he is imagining miniature people like Ted did when he was little. The cats are both smart but he is especally so and VERY observant.
Good Restoration job - you rescued a NICE one. The red paper label houses with blue diamond dust glitter roofs are somewhat uncommon but a nice variation. tkh

Will, I'll send you an email with deets on the clock house.

Tom, I love that your cat's name is Buddy!! I had an Afghan Hound who was my best friend for 12yrs named Buddy. :) Best name for a pet ever!!

Just a short building/cat story for you. My cat's name is Stella and she's 15yrs old. She hardly ever jumps up on stuff now, and I even thought about not putting up the plexiglass this year. Well its a good thing I did!! I'm working on my new house and I had just finished the base, which I can't wait to share with you. It is one of my favs..if not my favorite one Ive done so far. The brand new red coco fence against the greenish blue base is so purdy. Well I had just finished coating my base and set it up on my desk to dry against the wall. I came in the next morning and it had been pushed away from the wall and coco was everywhere. Both sections of the fence were pushed out. My cat jumped up on my desk, move the house and decided to take a nap right between the fences!!!! I got it all fixed now...but I've been shutting my office door for the last week...at least till the house is done.

Hope everyone's Holiday Season is off to a good start!! Here is my 2018 village. Only one new addition this year, although its a new fav of mine and I scored it for $14 which seems to be almost unheard of these days. I'm helping my daughter set up her village later today I think.

Merry Christmas!

-Brian

Hey Steve,
Its the house off to the right of the Grain Elevator house, which I actually scored that one for around $14-15 as well...don't always get that lucky!! The new house is a two story green spot with fuzzy windows, a few need replaced. One of these days I need to go through and fix up all my vintage, but everytime I've started to do that then i just want to build a whole new house. LOL. Hope to get back to building at somepoint. Too many projects going this year.
Have a Merry Christmas!!

Love the pond with vintage Plasticville fence as the "anchor" for the scene. There are some gorgeous houses too!

Thank you so much for the nice comments!

Howard, my brother did set up his village with a train around it this year, although he ran out of track  Im going to send him some to finish it. I saw it on a video chat last night and hes supposed to send me pics. If I get them I'll post them here. His trains are O scale Marx and he has two of them.
