This is the first time I have put up a putz on my sewing machine - just never thought to do that. This is sort of an eclectic village of mansions and hovel cottages and one tiny occupied Japan church with it's "brickie" snow bound cottage. These two came with the tiny Santa and Sleigh - all three from japan and about the same time. But the Santon kneeling at the tiny bamboo nativity is marked France. The mixing stand with my working model 9 Sunbeam mixer (about 1949) is an old one dating to the 1930's or earlier. On this cabinet is 7 buildings from the Fair Set. All fixed up now. When I see all of these houses I often think of the line from the song from THE SOUND OF MUSIC., "These are a few of my favorite things"!

Notice the tiny nativity of bamboo in a typical Japanese native style figures about 3/4" tall. The toy wind up Santa & Green tin Sled is marked Occupied Japan and is in it's original box. In outstanding working condition with repairs to the box

Sorry Howard. I can't answer your question - cause I never counted. Sort of like Louis XIV who didn't want it known how much he had spent on Versailles - so he didn't count the cost! "After Us the deluge"!

Tom, you never disappoint us with your displays. Are the houses in the "Fair" set new to your collection? I can't remember…….Very nice!!

(I swear there is a mixer like that in my mother's attic!)
