Yes, it's true. I go through Christmas putz village withdrawal once everything is all packed away. My solution is to have a winter log cabin mantle for the duration, lit by a battery string of LED lights! You can see a larger version here https://www.flickr.com/photos/22283683@N07/16285753376/
