Since Will made a house, I need to make one too. Looked like fun. My wife is a Stampin' Up demonstrator. She got a die set that had a house with different windows, doors and roof pattern. I "borrowed" for a bit and cut out a house. I then "Putz-ized" it. Added a few embellishments. The witch in the doorway is from Howard's website. Going to be in the 30's tonight in Vermont. Feeling like Fall already. Attachment: hween 800.jpg [ 278.4 KiB | Viewed 17791 times ] Happy early Halloween !! Steve |

Sweet Halloween house Steve. You nailed it! Did you use luffah for leaves? Awesome piece of work. Will |

The leaf material is a product called flower soft. A bit pricey but a little goes along way. Steve |

Just a note about the homemade "flower soft". What I figured out after making my own using the method in the like Maria posted. It is not styrofoam, but urethane foam that is ground up to make the base material. I tried making mine w/ urethane foam, and you get the same look of the final material. Steve |

Question Steve: Is the urethane foam the same stuff that foam "egg carton-style" mattress toppers are made out of? Thanks for your answer in advance! Cheers, Will ~ |
