A Dolly House with Glitter

Post by Lynn »

You may recognize this house as one of the Dolly houses, we made a while back, and the fence is a pattern Laurie shared with us. The house is painted pastel colors and covered with Diamond Dust.

If anyone hasn’t used Diamond Dust the flakes are is a bit larger than glitter, so it makes a thicker coating. It sparkles like no other glitter I have ever used! Diamond Dust can be sharp so be careful if you have little ones around that can touch the houses.

This is so sweet. What a different feel it has, finished the way you have done it, compared to the Christmas dollys. I enjoy using Diamond Dust, and really like the effect you've achieved here.

Hi Will, the name brand I use is twinklets diamond dust. I purchased mine online on eBay. I just looked online and i found it at factory direct, walmart, create for less, eBay, and joanns to name a few. I would imagine you could find it in the local stores I mentioned.
