"no genius here"...the base is a 2-inch square piece of corrugated cardboard from the material you find when you strip away the vinyl covers from 3-ring binders...I'll fill in the flutes with a couple of coats of white paint...

my version of Lynn's "Twin Peak Fireplace Cottage" is finished...hope you all approve of the color combinations...

i'm still working on some details for the diorama that will feature the fireplace and the miniature houses...but it's going to be awhile...

For now my fireplace is done. Maybe someday Santa may be part of the scene. The stockings are pictures I found and it just so happens they are the very same ones I had as a small child. They are printed on a printable fabric sheet, sewn together with a wool cuff.

The tree store bought is covered with all sorts of things. Some very old, some I made, trinkets I have saved over the years. The skirt is red flannel.

Howard thanks so much for a great project that has been so much fun!!
