Hello friends!
Wanted to share with you my latest project. Just finished construction on my first printie. It is a repro of an original that I found good pics of on ebay a while back. I've wanted to do one for some time but never got around to it..... Well now I know why!!!! It took me a month to digitally recreate each dot, line, brick, pillar, window, and door!! Once I got all the graphics reproduced I then made a pattern that syncs up with the graphic skin I created. Those were the easy parts. I got some good advice from Howard about how to apply the graphic to the cardboard...but man is that a bear. It took me 3 tries with a few alterations to the graphics each time. I even had to scrap one whole start. This project has tested every bit of my patience...just hope I'm the wiser for it.
This is the smallest house I think Ive made, it is Pack -O- Fun size...so I guess it's fitting it was one of the hardest.
I still have to add red and white coco to the base and roof, but wanted to share my progress this far. May be a week or another month before I finish, I ran out of white coco and all my coco making supplies are in storage.
I added a pic of some of the failed starts for fun.
Hope everybody is having a wonderful evening!
