Bought this at an antique/junk shop. It's certainly not old, but "in the spirit." It reminded me of the cotton batting roof postings from a few weeks ago. This looks to me like puffy craft paint topped with mica or clear glitter. I've never used it, but might be interesting to add to a glitter house for some dimensional work.

Hi BurghGal, Cute little house. I've use Snow-Tex sprinkled with mica or glitter and sometime both mixed together. The Snow-Tex comes in a jar and is sort of fluffy. Looks nice used as snow for a more dimensional effect. Use it on the roof, fence tops and the base. |

I've never tried puffy paint for snow but it might be interesting. I usually use Snow-Tex too, if I want dimensional snow. There is another product - Aleene's True Snow - but I have never tried it. If you try puffy paint Let us know how it works. |

I've used puffy paint--it hardens up nicely but people on forums advise using a matte spray sealer... |
