Greetings to all...

First, thanks again to Steve for starting this topic back in December of 2017...just look at the number of views his topic has had...around 58,000 plus...

I try to make at least one little fellow a year...and here's mine for 2022...I did substitute a pinecone for the spun cotton body and made the cap out of wool felt and not paper...the bird feeder idea was "borrowed" from a wooden figurine a family friend purchased at an estate sale...I carved the tiny bird from balsa wood and added cardboard wings and a tail...

The overall height is about 3 3/4"...the base is an egg shape measuring approximately 2" x 3"...
