Thank you, Paul. That is very nice. Gus the Ghost's house was a fun build. Well, except for the wraparound porch. I have to figure out how to do that better. Lucy |

Lucy... don't know if this will help you about building a wraparound porch or not...go here...https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=565 i build the porch as a separate piece...base, posts, steps, ceiling and roof...then i glue it to the front of the house...to do a wraparound you would have to add the side pieces... here are a few pictures of another porch with a wraparound on one side...you can see the support columns and the pieces that hold up the porch roof...i cut off the lollipop sticks flush with the topside of the ceiling when the glue is dry...then make the roof parts... Howard, I thought I had gone back and read every post on this forum, but I was wrong. I did not read this post or at least I missed this. I really appreciate your effort at finding this technique because it will help me so much. I did make the porch for the Wilkins House this way because it was so complicated, but I didn't do it for Gus' house. The wraparound porch would have been so much better if I had. It's a Halloween-type house so if it's a little off it doesn't matter as much. But I think it will be much easier next time if I use this method. Thank you for sharing these details. Lucy |

Lucy... Oh, you really didn't miss these photos on the forum...they were never posted until now... the pictures were taken during construction of the largest house i ever built to show the client the progress i was making...see the picture of the finished house... just as point of information...i punched all the holes in the ceiling and the floor at the same time...so i knew they would line up properly...i also used a strip of wood to keep the floor and the ceiling at the proper height all the way around until the glue dried on the posts at the floor and ceiling...the posts also go down into the base under neath the floor as well... my very best regards... Howard...
