Greetings to all…

If you’re not familiar with the “Pack-O-Fun” size houses, go to the links below to see past projects…they all fit on bases that are approximately 3” x 4 ½” x ¾” thick…they’re small, easy to build, display and store…

Hope I’ve captured all the links to the past patterns…

If you see a picture of a small house…and think it should be added to the collection…send me a picture via a “reply” on the forum…I’ll be glad to try and create a pattern and post it for all to use…

And of course…please feel free to share pictures of any of the “Pack-O-Fun” size houses you’ve made…

Here’s another new pattern to add to the growing collection…hope to post more soon…

My very best regards…

Howard…

update...5-2-2018...

here's a photo of a remake of a previous little house project...go to this link to see the the first version i made...

https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=625&hilit=star

this remake now sits on a smaller 3" x 4 1/2" x 3/4" base...so it's truly in the "Pack-O-Fun" size...my apologizes for omitting it from the recap list of "Pack-O-Fun" house patterns...

my very best regards...

Howard...

That's a beautiful star house Howard! I love the way you outlined the star with a gold mullion. Genius! :)

Howard,

Just curious. What percentage of houses do you add a chimney? I am wondering because I am making a house with a complicated roofline and I'm leaving the chimney off. I think it will look ok, but I never noticed on your houses if you have a chimney or not. And in the 2 examples above, one has a chimney and one does not.

And then how did you make the gold outline for the star? Wonderful detail. It really makes it show up so nicely.

Lucy

Lucy...

Chimneys?...interesting question...i guess it really boils down to the overall look of the house...some need a chimney...others may be "too busy visually" to have or need one...but thank goodness there are no rules we have to follow!...

The star window is simple...a star opening cut in white card stock about 1/16" smaller on all sides than the star opening in the house...apply a couple of coats of "emperor's gold" metallic craft paint on the card stock...add the red acetate window stock...done!...

Howard...
