update...11-25-2018...

this project is finished...but it looks a little drab on a blue background...but it's actually quite colorful in the proper setting...

and my 10+ year old digital camera seems to be a little confused and won't focus like it used to...

my very best regards...

howard...

Nice Howard! Really love the colors. I have been working on my own train station, but haven't even finished the design yet. Lots of inspiration here!

Yes, Steve, the windows are homemade...hand cut card stock mullions painted with my favorite "emperor's gold" paint...red acetate window panes...

Howard love the train station, the colors are perfect and the clock is a great addition

Well, this is certainly a long thread - and so interesting. Thanks for all your posting Howard; that is quite a happy village you have there - a nice accomplishment.

Greetings to all...

The three houses pictured below were built using the free patterns that Lucy posted on her topic and her blog about the 12 Houses of Christmas...go here for all the details..

https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1636

i did make a few small cosmetic changes so they would fit on the 3" x 4 1/2" x 3/4" Pack-O-Fun house size base...

Merry Christmas...

Howard...

update...8-13-2020...

it has been quite a while since i built a little house to add to this series...way too long...so here goes a new one...

and yes...it is very, very similar to the first house on page 1 of this series...but it's not an exact copy...

this new one was inspired by one i believe i found on pinterest...see the small photo...i did "flip" the design...

my version in raw cardboard and ready for primer is pictured below...the pattern is in the free PDF right below it...

i'll be posting a picture of the completed house in a week or so...

my very best regards...

howard...
