Post subject:  Nan's Mini Houses

I've been messing around trying different styles and techniques, practicing on 9 mini houses (1-1/4" square houses, some a bit taller). They consist of two loggies, a reindeer barn, an "adobe" hacienda, a church, and four houses. Having simultaneously learned to operate my camera, now have pictures of them! My "photo studio" is one corner of a table in the living room and my camera is a Kodak, so you can see what an amateur I am. Have also finished seven "regular-sized" houses since Christmas, so I'll get pix of them off soon. My thanks to all you inspirational putzers.

Great work, Nan, thanks for sharing.
You should leave a quarter or something in the foreground to give an idea of scale. If I didn't know better, with the level of detail, I'd assume they were twice or three times as large as they are.

I love the "adobe" hacienda. Do you have the pattern you used that you could share?

Thanks very much for your comments. I thought of including a ruler, but thought it would be too large, but I didn't think of a quarter. Will do it the next time I photograph the little ones. I made these free-hand, but they're easy to generate patterns for (and fun), and I'll get right to work on the hacienda one. I now have some photos of the regular-sized houses I've finished (but they also don't have scale indicators). I'll put the dimensions in the post.
