Saw this house come up. Attachment: putz house.jpg [ 224.36 KiB | Viewed 8478 times ] Interesting fence. Never seen that style before. I'm pretty sure the figure is an add on. It looks nothing like any figure I've seen. also the Tree on the left looks newer. Tom Hull gives a good description of the house on Papa Ted's putz of the month, year 2006. This is one of the original houses from the small group we call "The Petit Fours". I'm away from my other computer right now, I'll post some pictures of the group. It got is name because the bright colors make these look like decorated cakes. Definition; A petit four is a small bite-sized confectionery or savoury appetizer. The name is French, petit ... Petits fours come in three varieties: Glacé ("glazed"), iced or decorated tiny cakes covered in fondant or icing, such as small éclairs, and tartlets. |

Here's a quick look at the Petit Fours... Also many of the later Large Churches that have the pastel colors are lumped into a sub-group of Petit Fours
