Very nice build. Novel and unique! Can I ask where you picked up the, old style, long shank bulbs? I know they were used in some of the older C6 light sets but I haven't found a modern source for them. |

So the long shank C6 bulbs I used are for replamping old 8 lamp series wired C6 light strings. Specifically a C6 bubble light string. If you do a search in Ebay of "long shank C6 bulbs" They should show up. I relamped the C6 incandescent bulb with a 12V LED. In my case, I made a custom parallel wired light string, powered by a 12V dc wall wort type power supply. Back in the old days, when C6 light strings were used. You would have 8 C6 lamps wired in series. They use 15 volts per lamp, which comes out to be 120V. Which is a US standard wall outlet. I hope this info help, Steve |

Steve, This project is just incredible. I am amazed at all the details that you thought of to make such a beautiful light string. I think it is well beyond me because of all the wiring involved, but I still enjoyed reading about it. And the little houses are so inspiring as well. Thank you so much. Lucy |
