Thanks, Steve (gee, I don't have to call you "Vermont" any more!). Have you seen the plastic lids for canning jars--they aren't meant for "canning," but for storage, and I think would work great for what you're doing (and I'm planning to do). Amazon sells then for something like $3.79 (+$1.79 shipping) for a package of 8 lids. Here's the link. And at least you don't have to glue the lids to the rings, or worry about eventual rust. Is there a particular circle cutter you've had good experience with? The reviews on-line seem all over the place. And my hand cutting is pretty awful. |
