Okay, not a putz house, but someone in the area is selling this one and I couldn't resist posting a photo of something several families I knew used back in the day. It's not fully assembled (that's why the log assembly is leaning)

The red 9-watt light shown on the floor would plug through a hole in the back.

Hey Mr. Paul, I love the old cardboard fireplaces! We had one growing up as kids, but of course, it's looooong gone. I plan on making something like it for my own home this year if time permits. I have lots of cardboard to build it with, and there's lots of inspiration on Pinterest that I've found. If I get to it, I will post a picture of it here if that's ok!

That is a vintage piece to be sure…

Clinton, speaking of making your own…a friend of mine and I made two of them over 50 years ago…we made fireplace shapes out of cardboard boxes and painted white…for the bricks, we took old computer punch cards and sprayed with red paint…(remember punch cards?)…then glued then to the cardboard…it worked…

That sounds like a swell project Howard! Yes! I do remember the old punch cards. I once helped a friend back in the early 80's clean out his Dad's storage area, and I found hundreds of them. Never knew they could be used for something like this! I was thinking of finding some big paper sheets of flocked red paper and make one like the little putz fireplaces made in Japan back in the 50's.
