Good Day all!
I got to test my new fuzzy windows out! This is the second one of these houses I've had the oppertunity to fix up. I got one off ebay for my dad last year at Christmas. That rebuild can be seen here.

I will need to send him my new fuzzies so he can pop out the other replacement windows I installed with the correct ones.

This new restoration is the one I had in my own village. I still need to fix up the fence on the side by the door, a few of the tabs are broken off, but for now I wanted to show off the new windows. :)

The base and coconut on this one were in great condition. So all I had to do was add a little of Petes white coco to the top, and replace all the windows, door, and clock. The clock was one I had previously stained with tea when I restored the other house this winter. The new door is one printed off of Paul's from the resource page @ http://www.cardboardchristmas.com

Here are the before and afters! Thanks -Brian

Thank You so much Maria, Lynn, and Howard! It was a lot of fun, and didn't take too long. It so nice to start with a repro with something that is already in pretty decent condition.
I have a Black coconut that I need to fix in pretty shabby shape, I can't wait to start on it but I need to order so Black Coco from Pete. I'm afriad it will be way more involved. I'll make sure to photo all the steps.

Lynn, the dimensions of the base are 5-5/8" wide by 3-1/4" deep

The house from base to peek is 3-1/2" tall

Roof Top from Peek to Peek is exactly 4"

The longest house wall under the roof is 3-7/16" wall to wall

The short wall is 1-3/4" wide

Howard, not sure where I got those scissors tweesers, but they are my window puter inners. :) I do like them! They make it a little easier to pass the window through the back hole. They need a longer nose though, maybe more like surgical clamps. I may have got them in an old manicure set, but more likely I probably picked them up at a Hobby shop or in some section of Harbor Freight store.

Thanks again, -Brian

Hi Howard, I have a pair of these hair removal tweezers, they were my mothers. I use these as well. Ebay has a lot of them, very cheap, but I am sure you could find these at a local drug store.
