good evening to all...

yes...i do spend a lot of time making houses...but that's the freedom to create that being retired affords me...i try to enjoy each and every project...and usually have around two or three in the works at one time...

on the left...a free-lance design...4" x 6" base x 6 1/2" tall including base...the dormer roofs will not be glued on until the glitter is applied and the windows installed...the canopy porch is also a separate piece...with four mounting tabs that go through slits in the front wall of the house...

on the right...my version of the "rainbow house"...4 1/2" x 7 1/2" base x 5 1/2" tall...if i could have only one house in my collection it would probably be this house...it has it all...style, color and details...

my very best regards...howard

good afternoon...

almost finished with painting these two remakes...started adding the snow on the roof peaks today...i like the white primer you see in the shot by the rainbow house for this purpose...it's nice and thick, covers well and dries fast...perhaps some mica flakes and glitter next week...

still getting used to taking some pix with the iphone...

my very best regards...

howard...

greetings to all...

after all the glitter and mica flakes...and with the final application of "Snow-Tex" on the roof peaks...these two are finished...

now...on to another project... ...

i think something with "fuzzy windows" and an exciting "new door" ... ...

my very best regards...howard...
