Hello fellow putz house enthusiasts, As you know the Christmas Cardboard Putz House Collector's Guide is going to be a lifetime in the making. As of today the guide has 39 chapters with over 550 pages. I haven't even scratched the surface of the houses that are just in my collection alone. Today I sold my 3rd complete guide and that's without trying to market it yet. I'm posting some chapter front pages as well as some inside pages. Any monies I make on any of my putz project and parts goes right back into producing the guide as well as new punch dies for the window mullions. I also have other projects in the works that will benefit our fellow hobbyists. If you'd like to learn more please don't hesitate to ask.

good morning... pete... i'm very impressed with the work you've done on the Collector's Guides...like a prior post said..."a labor of love"...and...if i were a lot younger...(and not in the winter of my years)...i would probably buy every chapter... i know all the details are there...finishes, dimensions and excellent photos that show every important detail...just the kind of thing makers and restorer's need...not to mention aiding collectors in identifying the age of pieces in their collection... i'm especially drawn to the photo on the cover of "the last hurrah"...a tinplate american flyer train...they really don't make 'em like that any more... note...after reading all about "gesso"...guess i'm going to call you the "professor of ancient alchemy"... keep in touch...my very best regards...howard... |
