Good morning… It’s June…and time for a new project…I’ll just call this one the “June Cottage” for lack of a better name… Note that it is sized and scaled to fit in with all the other “Pack-O-Fun” houses…here are links to those threads… http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=723 http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=797 The patterns for the major parts, a picture of the cut out parts and the vintage inspiration house are below… I’ll post patterns for the roofs and photos as the building takes place… My very best regards…Howard…

good afternoon... the base is finished...it measures 3" x 4 1/2" x 3/4" thick...the reason for the blue tape around the foundation (on the front left) is to keep the primer, paint and glitter off the edge...that way i'll get a nice fit on the porch when the house is glued down on the base... my very best regards...howard...

greetings to all... here is a pix of the completed "june cottage"...went with the same basic colors as the vintage original for the most part...a pink with more red in it on the roof may have looked better than the lighter color i chose... i also noted on thing...after i had cut all the holes...this would have make a neat "clock house" i if had punched the round hole in the tall peak 1/2" in diameter...then i could have used one of the small clock faces paul has made available in the "recources" section of this website...here's a link...scroll down to near the end of the page... http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/html/printed_resources.html have a wonderful weekend...my very best regards...howard...

Very interesting adaptation of one of the earliest and most long lived of the Hacienda designs. Neat job! Tom |
