Next in the Davenport house line is Lady Davenport's House. Almost done. Need to figure out what kind of fence for the base.

Lucy, if I may suggest this... it can be easily cut down to the size and height you need....
sorry about the link... I'm not great at this!

At first I thought you were telling me about my photos being too large (which they are). You did fine with the link.

I love that fence. It is perfect for this little house. You answered a question I didn't specifically ask which is - what kind of fence to use with this house? I actually have a die that is very similar to the fence above that I can use.

Thank you.

You know, when I first saw this house - I recognized the pattern from the Davenport Green house and said "oh she's made a lovely blue one." But as I look at all these pictures here I see all the artistic work and attention to detail with the stone walls and the wood porch and the roof shingles. So many different effects that you are able to achieve. Very inspiring.

Thank you, Laney. I never thought I could do stuff like that. The only artistic thing I ever did was draw in black pen. I never used color because I didn't think I was good at it. I've never painted except for sloppy house painting so once I started using a paintbrush, it became more and more fun to do stuff with it. I still tend to use neutral colors, but I am getting a little more adventuresome with color. I do appreciate your comments because I know you are an artist.

I have the house almost done. I will post it in a day or so.

Finished the Lady Davenport House. I have one more of this pattern already cut out. I'll be working on that one next. Thanks to Pat for her suggestion on the fencing.
