Five years of R&D. Had to master a CAD program and a 3D printed plus many configurations but I think I've got it??????

Pete...

I reached out to Silas Marner...he said it was a loom for weaving raffia fences!...

Is there a prize for the first correct answer?...

Seriously, it’s pure genius...congratulations, of course...

Howard

PS...could you possibly post a video of how the loom works?...

Howard wins... Good job my good friend. "Putzn' Pete's Loofah Loom". It's not perfected until I get that first, acceptable set of fences off the loom. I'm perfecting the loofah bundles as we speak. Still needs some experimenting but I'm close. Wait until I post pictures for the final Remote Control Putz House Lights. Long leads so you can snake a light up to your towers and anti-rooms.

Howard, I'm glad you talked to Silas but just be very careful of William Dane!

Pete...
Forgot about William Dane...my 60 year old high school literature class memory is kinda foggy...but I do believe I worked for some of William's descendants...
And, yes...I do want to see the video of your LED lighting system...and when your raffia loom is up and running...a video of it in action...
Howard...

The "RAFFALOOM". Here is the finished product minus the the logo decal. Now I'm mastering the Raffia Bundles. Raffia, Starch, and Dye. Then a special twist to the strands. Place strands in loom wet... Let dry, glue backer and cut apart. I'll post pictures of the final product. One thing remains... to dye the fences green, probably like the originals OR brown to match the faded fences? More than likely both?

Pete...

I'll say it again..."Pure Genius"...both in adapting a centuries old loom design to your needs and mastering 3D printing...I wondered how you controlled the heddle...and now i can plainly see--that pink cord...another "Pure Genius" touch...

Now, inquiring minds want to know...when is the automated loom, run by punch cards, going to debut?...

My very best regards...

Howard...

Hey Pete.....how very clever !

Having learned from hard experience, you may want to experiment with dying
The raffia before applying any glue backer....glue does not take color well

Hurrah for your perseverance!
