REMOTE CONTROL PUTZ HOUSE LIGHTING - Final Version
Hello fellow hobbyists. I think I am at the final stag of my lighting design. This latest version now has three LED lights on extended leads. This way you can put a three lights in one opening or string a light into another, adjacent room or up into a tower hole. Most all Putz Scenes in the past would have dimmer houses because the big bulb's light was suppose to leak into that room by a small hole but that never worked unless the hole was huge. I have also developed a quick disconnect for external accessories such as a light post or another house. It now has a built in timer so you can leave it on all the time, 2 hours, or 4 hours. (saves battery life). The unit is powered by 3 AA batteries that run full power for at least 3 weeks straight. There is a slight flicker that emulates a fireplace, old fashion gas lighting or the flicker a the TV images. This adds a little action to the scene. One remote can control 12, 24 or more units. Hope to hear your observations.

Pete...
I think you have solved the lighting dilemma with modern technology...and the latest configuration you've developed certainly makes it easy to illuminate those towers and side rooms...
I do have a question...are the LEDs "bright white", "warm white" or "amber"?...I know LEDs are available in various colors...an I just wonder what "color" these are...
By the way...that church in the last photo...never saw that design before...it's probably one of hundreds in you collection none of us have ever seen...
My very best regards...
Howard...

Hello Howard. That's the fun thing of building these myself, I can make them any color I wish. I'm glad you like that church/castle because that is one of the beautiful structures that never gets to be seen with it's tower lit up.
