Now that Pete's Marketplace and our own Resources pages are up and running, you have more choices for replacement doors and windows than ever.

An article about choosing appropriate doors and windows for your putz house and where to find them:

Replacement Printed (Paper) Doors and Stained-Glass Windows on vellum or 100-year old paper (as appropriate):

Replacement Printed (Paper) Doors you can print yourself (recommend a color laser on acid-free paper):

Replacement Stick-on (Candy Box) doors you can order on 100-year old paper:

Red Cellophane replacement windows and doors you can order (the closest thing to the original, but more durable):

Cellophane-inspired graphics that you could download and use in a pinch (I print these on a color laser on overhead projector film and layer them to get the best effect):

Die-cut Windowframes that you can use to:

- Make different colored frames
- Make flocked (fuzzy) frames
- Use with different colors of cellophane

Paul:

As a builder, I can not thank you enough for the work you put in to make this all happen.

With the passing Of Ted I thought the windows and doors we lost.

But thanks to Brian, Peter and yourself, and more who are behind the scenes. The options for windows and doors are greater.

Again,

Thanks bunches.

Thanks Paul for doing such a great job getting this up for everybody!!!! I know a lot of hard work went in to each and every one of them by everybody who was involved! And now to have even more options than previously available, I can't wait to see how all the older houses have new life breathed into them, and see all the new ones that pop up!!!!

I also am so grateful to all those that have worked so hard to produce these wonderful doors and windows. I like to reproduce the older houses and churches and without these doors and windows it would be impossible. Thanks so much!! :)

I just got Pete's pre-cut window set that I purchased from eBay. They are wonderful! I am looking forward to building a house with them soon!

Gosh, you were all really working hard while I was away. My congratulations. I'm going to pull myself together shortly and order some windows and/or doors. Great job, all you hard-workers.
