Hi all, I am new to paper house making. I’ve been lurking and hoarding patterns for a year or so but finally jumped in to start making. I am totally hooked! I made 13 between Christmas and New Years. I am struggling to find glitter and all the mini embellishments, ie - wreaths, deer’s, trees, figures. Any help y’all can give would be great. Thanks for having me!

BBryant...

Hello, again and welcome...I hope you saw my reply regarding where to find "Dolly" patterns...I had to edit it a few times to get as much info for you as possible...think of it as a "treasure hunt"...

About deer, wreaths, figures, etc...i get most of my trees and wreaths from Hobby Lobby...but have bought a few other places...the miniature deer are available on line and at some craft stores...google "tim holtz deer" and i think you'll find what you're looking for...it's a little off season to find them in the store now that the holidays have passed...but thank goodness for online shopping...

Now about figurines...i bought a bunch over the years from almost every retailer you can name...Sears, Walmart, Home Depot, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby to name a few...even the dollar type stores...the selection varies from year to year...also found at garage sales, thrift store, etc...you can also shop online for miniature Christmas village figurines...

I haven't bought any figurines in several years...I've been making my own "Flatties" and "Santas"...you'll find all about them under the heading "Figures for Putzes and Candy Boxes...

Be sure to go here...https://cardboardchristmas.com/
This is the main Resource page for Cardboard Christmas...look down the menu list on the left of the page...there is a lot of information that may help you out...

Perhaps other forum members and Paul Race, forum owner and moderator, will chime in with details about their sources for the type things you're looking for...
