Really great take on this marvelous design. I have a base for one with a top hat snowman Maybe I should make one sometime. I have 2 originals. The first has black gravel on the house and coconut elsewhere. I remember arguing with Papa Ted about the gravel being correct finish as for several years that is all I ever saw. I am GLAD you put in the correct 6 Pane window in the side. I knew it existed and with some coaching Brian Bloodgood reproduced it. It is used OFTEN in Giant coconut houses. The Second has pink foil and a dark GRAY coconut on the house Pink foil roof and pink around the base.

Always nice to have the Tom, the historian weigh in on the house. His historical perspective is incredible.

It's a winner Lynn! Love the authenticity of it. Was there a tutorial here by Barb for the making of the raffia fence? I would love to try that out! :)
