Next is a little house with a rounded arch in the front. It's kind of an elongated rounded arch inspired by some of the rounded vintage houses. I really like this one. I painted it with kind of unusual colors - a distress paint called Bundled Sage and Mermaid Lagoon for the roof.

Here's the little village so far.

Howard helped me out and gave me some inspiration for today's house - the Swiss Chalet - a really easy house.

Tomorrow is the second church for house no. 10. Even a little putz house a day is a lot of work.

I don't think I've posted houses no. 8 and 9 - the Happy Holiday House and the Swiss Chalet. What do you think?

Yes, a little putz house a day is a lot of work. Your village is looking good and I like the Christmas colors of the Alpine house. It might be fun to do a whole village of red, green and white houses for display.

Greetings...

Like many of you, I have been following Lucy's "12 Houses of Christmas" since it started...and I'm very impressed with the way the entire project turned out...great job, Lucy!...

I have downloaded all her patterns and built the three that are pictured below...and I plan to build more in 2019...

Note...I did make minor cosmetic adjustments so they fit in with the look of "Pack-O-Fun" houses i have been building...

Lucy...thanks for posting and sharing...

Merry Christmas to all...

Howard...

They are beautiful, Howard. I always like to see how you have elevated the design.

Here is the finished wreath with all the houses on it. I was able to fit 14 house on the wreath because I bought such a big wreath - 38 inches I think. There are 14 rather than 12 because of extra prototypes I made when I was working on the pattern.

I say finished wreath even though I may go back and paint some of the branches with snow to lighten them a little bit. I'm going to practice on the back.

One nice thing about the wreath is that it works as a great way to display some houses if you are running out of room.

Lucy the wreath looks great. All the colors look so nice together and I love how you tucked in the figures.

Thanks for sharing all your pictures and patterns

You are so right this is a great way to display houses as we run out of space to display our villages.

Howard some more great houses to add to your ever growing pack-o-fun village!
