I am pleased to present another project inspired by a piece viewed on an online auction site some time ago. The image of the vintage item is under copyright protection and, therefore, cannot be shared here. The original was a candy box with glue on windows and a door. My version has been transformed into a Little Glitter House clock tower.
Several cosmetic and detail modifications have been made from the original design. This version will be painted rather than covered with brick-printed graphics. Additionally, the tower has been repositioned to the opposite side, and a clock face will be utilized instead of a window on the tower. Free clock face downloads are available at the following link: https://cardboardchristmas.com/html/pri ... urces.html
Candy Box Option
• Instead of creating openings for the windows, door, and clock face, you may attach printed paper versions. These can be obtained from oehmen@sbcglobal.net
• You may also download glue-on windows and doors for free and print them yourself. Please note that, as of the time of this writing, the link appears to be broken. I will investigate and provide an update accordingly.
The box holding the candy simply slides inside the body and is glued to the base. Refer to the accompanying photo below for clarity.
Two sheets of patterns are provided in the PDFs below the images. Additional pictures and details will be posted shortly.
Stay tuned for updates.
