Saw this one online. Tweaked it a bit.

Greetings to all,

PutzinVT recently posted his seventh build of 2026. It’s the yellow and blue coconut covered house in the first picture in this topic. After the first glance, I knew I had to build my Little Glitter House version. If you want to build your own version, below is a little backstory about this house and a pattern source.

It’s my understanding that forum member, Steven Leeds, originally drew patterns and built his version of a similar vintage house around 2021.

At some point, Steven collaborated with Jackie, whose website is A Cottage in the Forest. He turned patterns he’d drafted over to her which she then posted on her site. This house is identified as “39. Steven Leed’s Glitter Town Glitterhouse #10" in her pattern library. Go here: https://acottageintheforest.com/category/cottages/ to find out how to access the patterns in her library for this house and many others.

My work-in-progress version of the house is pictured below along with the one Steven Leeds built with a side building. Mine is scaled like the other “Pack-O-Fun” houses I’ve built that sit on about 3” x 4 1/2” x 3/4” bases. I’ll post a picture of the finished house in a week or two. Go here for more “Pack-O- Fun” patterns: https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/foru ... f=2&t=1554

My very best regards,

Howard

Greetings to all,

My Little Glitter House version of the barn roof house is finished. I used the same basic color pallet as Steve used on his except, I used clear glitter over the craft paint colors and substituted a bottle brush tree for the twin luffa trees. Now, I'm off to find another house to post in August. Wish me luck.
