This is the third one I’ve made…a section of shelf lumber, 4 layers of corrugated cardboard and a few nails…so simple…but it works…
The rubber bands provide tension…the shipping peanuts act like finger tips…in this case to hold down a roof in place while the glue dries…just position and tension as many rubber bands and peanuts as needed for your particular project…
The corrugated cardboard is also a great base for push pins when you have hold pieces together in a certain way and don’t have enough fingers…I don’t have a recent picture of this…but you get the idea…
My very best regards…Howard

This is a fabulous idea Howard. I'm always having difficulty getting a tight seal with the "roof"--now I know your secret, lol!

I made this contraption last night!
Thanks Howard!

I'm a Johnnie-come-lately at this and this will make my life incredibly easier. Thanks, Howard. It's a brilliant idea.

I always thought the roof was made from a fold, not two separate pieces. Please keep the info coming!
