IN HONOR OF MEMORIAL DAY, a great putz by Howard

Post by maria »

Some years ago I was very taken with a scene from the 40's movie SINCE YOU WENT AWAY. it featured a USO dance staged in what looked like a school building. I asked Howard Lamey of littleglitterhouses.com to create a putz for me along those lines. See below. The little lead soldier was found in a box of buttons for a dime; the plastic general is from a West Point vintage playset.

That is an awesome school! Nicely done Howard! I like the grey color scheme a lot, you don't see that many grey houses at all. Cool vintage figures. That Radko house is pretty nice too, thanks for sharing!
