Little Boy figure and MORE.....
Re: Little Boy figure
Cool Lynn, Thank you! I will definitely check it out.
Re: Little Boy figure and MORE.....
Good Morning!
I started a new figure of the little girl and dolly. Thanks to Maria and Lynn for the inspiration. It will be featured on my next house.
Here are start to finish photos....
Photo 1
My daughters sculpt next to the start of the little girl.
Photo 2
Finished sculpt in polymer clay.
Photo 3
Sculpt after baking for 15 at 275 degrees. She got a little bubble in her head, and scortched pretty bad, I think next time I'm going to less the length of time the sculpt is cooked for and see what happens.

This is what they look like after they come out of the mold. I used Howard's technique for molding, but made it into a double mold so I could cast the boy and girl at the same time. I used rock hard water putty. I clean up the mold lines while they are a bit soft still.
I didn't put wires in because of the placement of the figure on the house I'm going to make.....

Re: Little Boy figure and MORE.....
FANTASTIC!
Re: Little Boy figure and MORE.....
Thank you Paul and Maria!
Re: Little Boy figure and MORE.....
I've been doing more castings recently. Tom sent me a kitty and a Santa that I cloned. The Padre is from my recent ebay acquisition. I made a triple mold this time around. It bordered on being too big, and I had several failed attempts...but these are the guys that made it.

P.S. Paul, sorry I just realized I started this thread in the wrong section. Is there a way to move it to the figures section on the forum?
Thanks-B

Re: Little Boy figure and MORE.....
Wow Brian, I need to get hold of one of those cats! Got any extras you'd like to sell? Looking for a dog too. At the least, maybe some detailed, close up pics? Maybe I should try out my sculpting skills!
