Pete's been working for a long time to compile a reference book about putz houses. When he started collecting, he figured there were maybe a couple hundred different houses. Now he's seen examples of over a thousand. And still counting.
Because printing a price guide for all of the ones Pete has come across would be prohibitive, Pete's been breaking the "book" up into separate pdf chapters and selling them a chapter at a time.
Here's a note from Lynn about some chapters she's bought - she posted this on the forums in January, but I thought it deserved a repost here:
-----------------------------------------------
I have purchased multiple chapters from Pete Oehmen’s Collectors guide. They are just wonderful, I love them. Each chapter has multiple pictures for each building and detailed information. I was chatting with Pete and he has put together a listing of the Collector’s Guide chapters he has available to purchase. He will give discounts for anyone that wants more than one chapter. Each chapter is a different price because of the amount of pages. You can contact Pete at oehmen@sbcglobal.net
Again, you can reach Pete at oehmen@sbcglobal.net for more information.

I've purchased all of the chapter of Pete's books. They are an impressive compilation loaded with information and amazing photos. They provide inspiration for me when determining what builds to try on my own. Highly recommend them!

JCass, would you say this would be a good Christmas present for putz lovers you know?
Re: Pete's reference books
Hello Paul and All -
I would most definitely recommend them! The collection is amazing. Paging thru them never gets old. I especially like to chapters on the large coconuts. I can't even imagine how much time and effort has gone into assembling. So happy that Pete has made them available!
