One of the dictionary definitions of an anomaly is a "Deviation or departure from the normal or common order, form, or rule."
And this evening I am going to examine 3 different buildings EACH very deviant from the usual. As you may have discerned by now the earlier green spot houses usually had fuzzy windows and all carried a paper label that was a printed export label that was pasted on the bottom. They also had an identical ink stamp that was but rarely used.
Still they made a wide range of buildings some of which were all coconut in some early ones but in this first one
we have a little cabin or loggie that was recently offered. Items of interest to note besides the paper label are the silk screened raised chimney which I KNOW to have been used on Oval made in Japan stamp marked houses. Further we have mullioned windows which this is the only instance of a paper label appearing on a mullioned window house. Notice also the door is not one known to have been used by them.

Re: Paper Label ANOMALIES 1. A CABIN
Tom, will you please explain why this particular door was not used by them. Sometimes I get so confused by the volume of knowledge you impart to us!
Re: Paper Label ANOMALIES 1. A CABIN
I really cannot explain it. There usual product had either a yellow panel with fine red outline and the rest of the framing was yellow. The other door they commonly used had a red panel and green surround with yellow mullions on the window area. This one is a yellow panel with heavy red surround. Why they used this door or made a loggie with mullioned windows when their normal windows were either plan cellophane or fuzzy windows. This house is NOT easy to explain. Perhaps they were making it for a company who got behind in their work and sub contracted it out and sent them the proper supplies and patterns that they would need. Still more questions than answers.
Re: Paper Label ANOMALIES 1. A CABIN
In revisiting this it occurred to me that this posting of eBay photos could possibly have been switched by the seller. We have no real way of knowing this but the bottom of the base seems to be the same as the sides but perhaps the photo was switched? I also notice it has the somewhat scare raised brick on the chimney which was done by a superior loggie maker.
Re: Paper Label ANOMALIES 1. A CABIN
Pretty cool anomaly if it is the original base! The raised brick chimneys are super cool.
