NOT EXACTLY PATTERNS BUT INTERESTING DOORS, 1959

Here's a place to post patterns you want to share, link to patterns you find elsewhere on the internet, and request particular kinds of patterns you're looking for. I've moved a few existing messages here to get the forum started.

NOT EXACTLY PATTERNS BUT INTERESTING DOORS, 1959

Post by maria »

So among my recent finds at a local flea market has been all these dog-earred vintage catalogs for hardware companies, automotive supplies, etc. I wasn't exactly sure there'd be anything of interest to us in them--but was very pleasantly surprised. Check out these pages with doors and windows from a 1959 hardware catalog...lots of inspiration here--maybe also for stick on doors and windows. I can send high resolution copies on request

Great, Maria, thanks for sharing. There is a definite Frank Lloyd Wright influence in the top row. Wish I could buy a solid wood entry door for $25 today. Or $200. They're basically not made any more. :-(
