HOW I PREVENT PUTZ WITHDRAWAL THE REST OF THE YEAR

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

HOW I PREVENT PUTZ WITHDRAWAL THE REST OF THE YEAR

Post by maria »

Once the nativity is put away my "oriental" putz village comes out; it's a mix of vintage made in Japan pieces as well as all new putz houses by Howard Lamey; the tea house has room for a light; the red pagoda also has room for a light; the little carved wooden figures are also by Lamey; the smaller celluloid pieces are vintage made in Japan; the oil lamps are new; the ceramic pieces are made in occupied Japan; the red plates are also occupied japan; the large dragon is from Bali; the large fan is made from sirrocco wood and is vintage

Here's my 2016 arrangement

Surprises everywhere! This is an incredible display - what a nice mixture of new (Howard Lamey's creations) and old.
