A terrible play on words ... sorry, Gang! This year, Easter coincided with a good friend's 80th birthday. I decided to make a 1:12 scale room box of her studio, where she churns out collages at a prodigious rate. My husband took photographs of her work, which I hoped to print out
and put into little frames. But the photos weren't good enough, so I had to attempt to make miniature versions of her collages, which would
capture the essence of her work without trivializing it.... a dicey proposition. I also had to produce a likeness of her at work. I still don't do
faces well, but the results ended up startling her son, who thought I had done something voodoo-ish to his mother! Anyway, enjoy!

Pat, your perfectly scaled studio is incredible as is your friend, I'm sure. I would love to see her work. I bet she was so happy to receive this. It is a wonderful birthday present.

Only one thing to say..."MUSEUM QUALITY WORK"...
Any idea as to how many hours you have in this masterpiece?...

Well, thank you all, and Howard, you are too kind.

As to the time spent, I don't know. Maybe 80 hours or so .. still way more satisfying than
80 hours at the office. Time flies when I'm doing crafts. I'm absorbed, and life's annoyances
vanish. But all of you, I think, know what I'm talking about. Ain't hobbies grand?

I will say, though, that completing this kept me from working on a Bunny Tableau, by way of
explaining the title of this posting!
