Mini Adobe Casa

Post by Nan »

A while ago I promised to create on paper the plan for the mini adobe casa I posted earlier this year. Well, here it finally is. The text file was made in Word then scanned with the photo into Picasa 3. I had to make a second casa to test out my instructions, and hope they work for anyone who's interested. (And I hope the files transfer--once only--here.)

I just finished my version of your adorable casita. Thanks so much Nan! It was really fun to put this together and the instructions were excellent. I didn't change the color scheme, because I thought what you did was perfect! Mine is in desperate need of some accessorizing, though. I hope I can find a tiny plastic forest animal. I think your little doe really adds to the charm of tiny houses. :)

I made Howard's mini hacienda also. I posted the pic on that thread.

Thanks again Nan. I hope other people make this casita too. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Yours looks great! I'm so pleased to see it. I could even imagine it in yellow with green or blue trim, or orange with yellow and brown, or "salmon" with aqua--lots of choices would look good, I imagine.
I got the little deer in a package of about a dozen, very inexpensive plastic ones, that included some with reindeer antlers (or could pass as such) and some without. One of the sites listed on Cardboard Christmas, but I can't find it again. Do a search for miniature reindeer or deer, or something--I bet you'll find it. (Or miniature forest animals.)
