Wow John! Looks like you were "rippin' it up" there! Don't give up. Practice will make a more perfect product, I promise you! Just enjoy the time you have making it. I promise you, it's all worth it! If you don't have one yet-- I would highly recommend buying a 2nd hand dehydrator from your local thrift shop. Around $5 or so. It will dry the coco literally within an hour or less!
