The HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING Pattern
Re: The HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING Pattern
Steve! Your high school building is amazing! It looks so authentically vintage, just in impossibly clean condition for vintage. Thanks for sharing pics of your project. I look forward to your next masterpiece.

A perfect production in every way.
The stucco can be challenging and you have it down pat.

Just to follow up.
The spackling compound I used is pictured below:
Funny I can not find it on their website, but if I walk into the store it's right on the shelf.
So I start with that.
Add some floral sand to get it to the right texture you need.
It's easier if you use a vintage house as a reference.
Then the color you want it to be.
It will lighten as it dries.
I did add some water. Mind you I had a dropper bottle.
you don't need much. If too wet it with warp your cardboard.
But you want it wet enough so it flows.
I then sprinkle some 90 grit german glass glitter to give it the vintage black spots.
Then sprinkle finely ground mica over the top.
Let dry.
I experimented a bit to make it work.
Let dry.
