AH yes the memories! As Ted was won't to say. Diane Gray hosted us at a MUCH diminished mini convention. The intention was to have a few people come to Diane's and have Ted there. Unfortunately a wicked hurricane got in the way and I waited a month to go there in mid September. Diane and her husband hosted and Karl Fey was there and it was about the end of the line for Karl's houses. What a loss that was. One other attended was a neighbor and she was indeed charmed by the houses. She appears in one of the lower photos. I really pushed for this and desperately wanted Ted to attend so he could be properly thanked and honored for his work.maria wrote:Some folks got together for a mini putz convention--including putz artisan Karl Fey--we call it is PUTZFEST 2011. If you want to see the photos and there's some really outstanding older pieces here:

When I went home I stopped in Tarentum Pennsylvania and visited with him. He was so encouraged that he was going to get better but I was sure I would not see him again. Sorry Ted we tried. Yr Friend Tom Hull
