good afternoon...

ok...all of you!...i'm painting and working on the castle as fast as i can!... :lol:

then i'll see about the "flatties" you've all suggested... :lol:

seriously...most of the painting has been completed...hope to finish the project on tuesday...pictures then...

good morning...

the castle was 99% finished yesterday afternoon but had to dry overnight...i still have to add a touch of snow-tex to the white on the spires...the top flag adds about 3/4" to the overall height making it a total of about 11 3/4"...

i used a sand texture finish with a blush of mica and glitter in selected areas...the windows in the right and left towers are not illuminated...i just used red foil paper and gold tape to make the windows...

Just read this post. For mounted knights, check out the Brettonian army from Games Workshop. Kind of expensive, but highly detailed and a worthwhile project of their own!
